June marks the beginning of Gay Pride events around the world. Part party and part commemoration, Pride festivals take place in the five boroughs from June through July, giving all New Yorkers the chance to celebrate, see and be seen. Whether you prefer the cozy atmosphere of Brooklyn Pride, the neighborhood vibe of Queens Pride or the blow-out mardi-gras that is New York City Pride, you have simply got to get your rainbow on. Straight, gay or in-between, here are the places to get tee-shirts, accessories and head-to-toe outfits that shout your colors to the world. After all, closets should only be for clothes, so let's go shopping and join the party.
