4/21 CBS2 Thursday Afternoon Weather Headlines

We're looking at mostly sunny skies the remainder of the afternoon. And it will be a little warmer than yesterday with highs in mid 70's -- enjoy!
We'll see a little more in the way of cloud cover tonight with just a slight chance of showers inland. Temps will not fall off as much as they did last night... upper 50's at best.
A shower threat will be mainly inland through the day tomorrow with the city's best chance of seeing any showers or a rumble later in the afternoon. And a persistent southwest wind will warm us up nicely... 75-80° around the area!

Tomorrow night we'll see our best chance of showers, and even some rumbles of thunder as our cold front approaches; it will sweep through around daybreak Saturday. That said, we'll leave in a chance for an early shower on Saturday with clearing thereafter. Highs will be a touch cooler, as well... upper 60's.

High pressure should win out on Sunday and bring us a mostly sunny day. It will be a few degrees cooler with highs in the mid 60's.
