3/28 CBS2 Monday Afternoon Weather Headlines

The last of the showers will swing through this afternoon with partial clearing expected to follow. And after the front swings through, hold on to those hats... gusts of 40-50 mph are expected by late in the day. That said, the National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for much of the area from this afternoon through tomorrow afternoon.
The winds will keep up tonight with gusts of 40-50 mph expected. It will look a little better, too, as our skies continue to clear up. Temps will fall into the low 40's by daybreak.
Sunshine will dominate tomorrow, but those winds will continue to rush in... gusts, once again, to 45 mph or so. It's really not until Wednesday, when higher pressure settles in, that we'll finally see our winds relax a bit.
And as of now, it looks like our next rain chance will hold off until Thursday... warmer, too, with highs in the 60's.
