2/22 CBS2 Monday Afternoon Weather Headlines

By Justin Lewis
CBS2 Meteorologist

It will be a little cooler than yesterday, but we'll still manage to reach the upper 40s with plenty of sunshine... enjoy!

Tonight will be fine as well. Just expect a little extra cloud cover... still chilly though with temps falling into the low to mid 30s.

Onshore winds will make it a little more breezy tomorrow. And some morning rain is possible, but it looks like that would stay to our south. It won't be until after the midday hours that we'll see some rain and snow move into the area... any snow changing to rain by the early evening hours around here. Where we see a slightly longer period of snow to the north and west, snowfall amounts of a coating to an inch or two is possible. But even up there, snow and mixed precipitation will ultimately change to rain by early Wednesday morning.

The next round of rain will be Wednesday into early Thursday with our next system that swings through. And there could be pockets of heavy rain associated with this, so some urban flooding is possible.

Stay tuned for more info!
