2/21 CBS2 Sunday Afternoon Weather Headlines
By Matt DeLucia

Good afternoon, folks!
Temps will once again be above normal this afternoon, but not as mild as yesterday... upper 40s to low/mid 50s for most. Hard to believe just a week ago we were below zero! Some showers work there way into the area early this evening, confined mainly S&E of the city. It's a quick mover, moving off the coast shorty after midnight. With colder air moving in, there could be some snowflakes mixing in N&W if the precip lingers, but there's only a slight chance.
Tomorrow will feature mostly sunny skies with slightly cooler temps. Clouds increase on Tuesday ahead of our next big rain maker. There's still some uncertainty, but as of now it looks like the heaviest rain will be Wednesday PM into Thursday AM.
With warm temps and an inland track, the threat for wintry precip has diminished. The best chance would be at the onset, late Tuesday and overnight into Wednesday morning. The entire region will be rain on Wednesday, with gusty winds and some poor drainage flooding likely.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend and check back in soon!
