2/19 CBS2 Thursday Afternoon Weather Headlines

By Justin Lewis
CBS2 Meteorologist

Expect gusty winds and knee-knocking "feels like" temps the remainder of the afternoon. We're going for a high of 21°, but it will never feel that way... more like 5° or so.

An absolutely frigid air mass will settle in tonight. We're anticipating a biting breeze, record lows, and wake up wind chills around -15°!

We won't see much of a warm up tomorrow as we will still be under the influence of a brutally cold air mass. And with a persistent northwest breeze, "feels like" temps will be below zero through the morning hours. The good news is, we'll see quite a bit of sunshine.

Saturday stays quiet through the early afternoon hours, but it will get a little more interesting with the arrival of some light snow later in the day. Light accumulations are possible through the evening, but warming temps will allow for snow to changeover to a mix and/or plain rain into Sunday.

Check back for more details on the cold and this weekend's system!
