1/5 CBS2 Tuesday Evening Weather Headlines
By Matt DeLucia
CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer
Good evening, folks! BRRRR... pretty much sums up today. We climbed to 28 in the city after a morning low of 11... some of the northwest suburbs hit zero! And those winds were biting early, causing those wind chills to start in the negatives for most!
The good news is the winds will continue to subside and it won't feel as harsh overnight. Clear skies will allow temps to drop to the low 20s around NYC and teens in the suburbs. We'll climb higher tomorrow as high pressure slides east and we pick up a southwest flow. Highs will be in the upper 30s and low 40s with plenty of sunshine.
Temps continue to climb through the week, reaching mid to upper 40s and maybe even 50 by the weekend! Our next chance of precip looks like overnight Friday into Saturday.
Check back in soon!
