1/24 CBS2 Sunday Evening Weather Headlines

By Mark McIntyre
CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

What a difference 24 hours makes, folks! Yesterday we had blizzard conditions from a powerful storm... today we have a mix of sun and clouds with much less wind. Whether you were digging out or staying warm, today was a better day overall.

Expect a rather cold night ahead, and any snowmelt will refreeze overnight as temps bottom out in the mid teens and 20s.

Tomorrow's going to be a much nicer day with sunshine and clouds mixed. Temps will be seasonable, right around 37 for the high in NYC. Winds will be weaker still, so there won't be too much of a harsh wind chill. More clouds move in late tomorrow night.

Some drizzle or showers possible Tuesday, with a brief opportunity for freezing drizzle early Tuesday - so be careful as you head out the door. Things get warmer Tuesday PM with a high of 43 in NYC.
