12/30 CBS2 Wednesday Evening Weather Headlines
By Mark McIntyre, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer
Good evening, folks! Cloudy skies prevail tonight and we'll have some rain for the overnight...most likely south and east of NYC. Good news is that it will be all rain and we won't have to worry about a wintry mess. It'll be pretty cool overnight though with a low in NYC of 43.

Things will be clearing out tomorrow morning but with some clouds returning through the day. It'll be a pleasantly cool day with a high of 50, well above normal...and temps in Times Square will be right around 40 when the ball drops at midnight.

The New Year will start off a little cooler with highs in the mid 40s and partly sunny skies. Things look dry and seasonably chilly through the weekend with temps in the low & mid 40s. Have a great night!
