1/22 CBS2 Thursday Morning Weather Headlines
By Giorgio Panetta, CBS2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer
Morning everyone!
Be careful out there this morning if your traveling in Monmouth and Ocean County. The NWS extended their advisory until 8 a.m. Any wet roads and snow can easily re-freeze and make for tough travel. Expect slippery spots and take it easy.
Freezing fog, although rare, is possible overnight. Any water droplets will basically freeze on contact -- very dangerous. But moving forward, the rest of today is dry and turning mostly sunny. Expect highs to top off near 40 -- pretty nice for this time of year.
Friday is another quiet day before yet another storm arrives on Saturday. The early call would be a mix of wet snow and rain, with a few inches possible. Still a bit too far out for an accurate analysis.
Check back in soon!
