12/19 CBS2 Saturday Evening Weather Headlines

By Mark McIntyre, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Brrr! It's been a cold dose of reality across the area, with temperatures below seasonable and even snowflakes flying around! After such a toasty start to the month, we're really feeling like December today & tonight. Expect clear skies tonight with temps bottoming out at freezing in NYC with 20s north & west. Bundle up!

Evening Tonight Board

Tomorrow's gonna be a better day in terms of skies and temps - more sunshine and a little bit warmer with a high of 45 degrees in NYC - but a few folks might not break 40. It won't be as blustery so it should feel closer to the actual air temp. Still, you'll wanna dress warmly if you're heading to MetLife Stadium for the Giants-Panthers game tomorrow at 1.

Evening Surface Map

If you miss the unseasonable warmth, you're in luck - big time warm up in store this week! We'll be in the mid 50s Monday with a few more clouds, upper 50s Tuesday with a few showers, and we're back to the 60s! We could even be talking record warmth Wednesday & Thursday with mid & upper 60s with some rain both days...Keep it tuned for the very latest, and stay warm!
