1/12 CBS2 Monday Afternoon Weather Headlines

Expect rain and fog the remainder of the afternoon. Temperatures will top out in the upper 30s to near 40°, so it won't get much warmer than it is now. As we head into this evening, we'll see leftover rain (especially across NYC and LI) with the rain wrapping up far east by late evening. Clearing and colder the remainder of the night with a low around 26°.

It will be a struggle tomorrow as we only rebound to around 30°. And with a persistent north wind it will never feel like that... wind chill of about 15° much of the day.

A few extra clouds will get thrown in the mix by Wednesday with temperatures only warming to around freezing.

Thursday's a touch warmer with mid to upper 30s and partly to mostly cloudy skies.
