11/16 CBS2 Monday Afternoon Weather

By Mark McIntyre
CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good Monday afternoon, folks! What a spectacular day we have ahead of us with temps reaching the low & mid 60s under clear blue skies! We'll top off at 63 in NYC. Considering we should be in the mid 50s for this point of November, this is a treat! Skies will be partly clear tonight with a dry cold front moving through and temps plunge to 30s & 40s - 43 in NYC.

Afternoon Headlines

Expect sun & clouds tomorrow with much cooler temps behind that front...and breezes from the east. We'll be a good 10-15 degrees cooler in spots but we'll stay dry. Wednesday features more clouds and warmer temps in the upper 50s and the chance for late day drizzle, perhaps a shower or two overnight.

Afternoon Surface

Thursday will be even warmer with a high of 63, and periods of heavy rain in the PM. We could even get some rumbles of thunder and gusty winds. We do need the rain as we're far behind schedule. We clear out late Friday and temps fall back into the 50s for the weekend.
