10/17 CBS2 Saturday Evening Weather Headlines

One word can sum up the night ahead, folks....BRRR! It's gonna be downright cold across the Tri-State area, with many 'burbs dropping below freezing! Looks like we'll stay above freezing in NYC...but a low of 38 here ain't exactly balmy.
Tomorrow will be an even colder day, and with a northwest breeze, it'll sure feel like it! Expect many spots struggling to break out of the 40s, feeling like the low 40s due to the wind. A few clouds from time to time are possible, and we can't rule out a sprinkle here or there, or even a flurry or two well north/west of NYC! Make sure you're bundled up if you're heading out, or just stay warm & cozy inside.
Monday morning will be a rough start - will be a dry but very cold morning with almost everyone at or below the freezing mark...the 5 Boroughs will be a close call but either way ya slice it, it'll be cold! We'll "warm up" to the low 50s by afternoon, which is still a good 10-15 below normal.
Some good news though - we'll warm back up to the upper 60s and near 70 by midweek...if only it could last!
