Nukes and terrorism
President Obama is hosting a summit of world leaders this week that "uniquely focuses on nuclear security and the nexus of terrorism and nuclear materials." The threat of ISIS attacking a nuclear facility or making a dirty bomb was amplified by worrying revelations about two of the Brussels attackers.
Rain and wind
Violent storms are sweeping across the southern United States. At least four tornadoes were reported in Oklahoma overnight and two others in Arkansas and Kansas. The massive storm system has already threatened nearly 9 million people and more heavy rains and flash flooding is forecast through Friday.
"Punishment"
Donald Trump said abortions should be banned and that the ban should be enforced with "some form of punishment" for women who violate it and undergo the procedure. But within hours of the remarks being broadcast, he released a pair of statements changing his stance.
