A Douglas County man is hospitalized after being stabbed several times early Friday morning. Marshall Roy Jarvi, 34, suffered multiple stab wounds shortly after midnight at a residence on the 12000 block of County Road 71 Northeast, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's office. Vanessa Rae Zephier, 33, was arrested and is being held at the Douglas County Jail pending a court appearance. Both Jarvi and Zephier are from Nelson.
