A 23-year-old Minneapolis man has been sentenced to over seven years in prison for his role in a string of armed robberies.

A 23-year-old Minneapolis man has been sentenced to over seven years in prison for his role in a string of armed robberies.
According to campus officials, the robbery occurred on the 1600 block of University Avenue Southeast.
The university says one suspect threatened the victim with a knife and stole her purse.
Meanwhile, a shooting overnight happened at nearby Abbott Northwestern Hospital. Union nurses in Minneapolis have cited public safety concerns ahead of a vote authorizing a strike.
