Police: Pedestrian Struck By Car That Nearly Drove Into Miss. River
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis police are investigating after a car hit a pedestrian, then nearly ended up in the Mississippi River.
The incident happened just after 7 p.m. Tuesday night at 26th Street and West River Parkway.
Police say the car went through a barrier and then down the river bank. A witness told WCCO that a jogger was hit, but no one was seriously injured.
They're still investigating why the car left the road.
