Missing 7-year-old girl found safe in southern Minnesota
WASECA, Minn. -- Police in southern Minnesota say a 7-year-old girl who went missing Monday evening has been found safe.
The Waseca Police Department said Madilynn ran away from her family shortly before 7 p.m. On Tuesday morning, the department said she "has been located and is safe."
Police thanked the community for their help in finding the girl.
"We have such a great community who cares about our kids and residents," the department said.
