Who are the Minnesota Twins playing on MLB Opening Day?
The Minnesota Twins will play the St. Louis Cardinals on Thursday, March 27. The first pitch is scheduled for 3:15 p.m. CT.
The game is part of a three-game road series against the Cardinals. The other two games will happen on Saturday, March 29, and Sunday, March 30. First pitch for the second and third games of the series is set for 1:15 p.m. CT.
The team will spend its first six games away and will visit the Chicago White Sox for a three-game series after they play the Cardinals. The Twins will face the White Sox on March 31-April 2.
One player who won't see playing time on opening day is third baseman Royce Lewis, who is dealing with a left hamstring strain. Lewis suffered the injury during a Grapefruit League game earlier this month against the Boston Red Sox.

Anyone hoping to cheer on the Twins on the road can buy tickets to attend the March 27 game at Busch Stadium in St. Louis. Tickets range from $84 to over $700, according to the Cardinals team website.

After the six-game road trip to begin the season, the Twins will have their home Opening Day game at Target Field on Thursday, April 3. Minnesota will host the Houston Astros, with the first pitch scheduled for 3:10 p.m. CT.
