State Patrol: 1 Dead, Several Injured After Head-On Crash In Renville County
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – One person was killed and several were injured in a head-on crash in Renville County Friday night.
The crash occurred just before 7:30 p.m. Minnesota State Patrol said 25-year-old Ta Ku of St. Paul was driving southbound on Highway 71 near Morton when she lost control. The truck crossed the center line and struck a northbound Ford Escape head-on.
The driver of the Escape, 68-year-old Joann Dehncke, was killed in the crash. Occupants of the F-150 were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The F-150 contained seven people total, including four children under the age of 10.
