MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- On Thursday, protesters gathered at the governor's mansion in St. Paul, urging Gov. Tim Walz to reopen the state for business. Meanwhile, the COVID-19 death toll in the state climbed just shy of 100.

- 8:56 p.m.: Canada is requiring all air travelers to wear masks.
- 7:42 p.m.: Gov. Tim Walz signed legislation Friday to allow takeout sales of beer and wine from bars and restaurants during the COVID-19 pandemic.
- 5:54 p.m.: PowerHaus Pilates in Edina has closed permanently.
- 3:29 p.m. Minnesota House passes a bill to allow takeout beer and wine, which will now go to Gov. Walz's desk. In the past he said he would support the bill.
- 3:12 p.m. Gov. Walz confirms seven workers at the JBS plant in Worthington have confirmed cases of COVID-19.
