One Dead, One Injured In Homestead Homicide
HOMESTEAD (CBSMiami) – Miami-Dade Police are investigating a homicide in Homestead that left one woman dead from stab wounds.
The MDPD Mobile Crime Unit was deployed to a home on Southeast 6th Street early Wednesday afternoon, according to police.
Upon entering the house, police found a woman dead and a man nursing his injuries.
Police said the woman died of stab wounds. The man was detained then taken to a hospital to treat his injuries, where he remained as of late Wednesday afternoon.
Police have not spoken to him yet and don't know whether he is a suspect or a victim. The next step: obtaining a search warrant for the home.
