The Hollywood Police Department has also issued arrest warrants for two other suspected gunmen.
Nine people, including four children, were transported to area hospitals following a mass shooting at the Hollywood Broadwalk on Monday afternoon.
The apparent gunfight happened at an off-road vehicle rally in Mexico's Baja California state, near the U.S. border. It prompted an intense mobilization of army, navy, and state and local police units.
A suspect was "confronted and killed on scene," police said in a statement.
