Police say one was pronounced dead at the scene and two others died in hospitals. The reasons for the shooting weren't clear.
Police said the alleged shooter was wearing a bulletproof vest, had multiple magazines, a scanner, an AR-style rifle and a handgun.

The university selected Ohio-based Security Risk Management Consultants to lead the external investigation.
The shooting took place at an Old National Bank branch in Louisville. Police said the gunman, 25, worked at the bank.
Nearly 49,000 people died from gun violence in the U.S. in 2021, according to the CDC.
According to an update on Tuesday from MSU police, the student was in critical condition but was stable when they were discharged.
"We strongly believe there was going to be some other targets, including maybe family members, and one of the malls here in Nashville," said Nashville Police Chief John Drake.
The shooter has been identified as a 28-year-old from Nashville, authorities said.
Three 9-year-old students and three staffers were killed in the rampage at The Covenant School, a private Christian grade school. Police say they shot and killed the shooter.
If a mass shooting is defined as resulting in the death of four or more people, not including the perpetrator, 175 people have died in 15 such events connected to U.S. schools and colleges — from 1999's Columbine High School massacre to Monday's shooting in Nashville, Tennessee.
"She knew something was wrong deep down inside. Very often people are ashamed to get help, very often people don't know where to get help," Shiener added speaking on the shooter.
A fourth student has been released from the hospital following the shooting at Michigan State University.
Monday's snow postponed a gathering at MSU to mark the one-month anniversary of the mass shooting.
The gunman, identified only as Phillip F., legally owned the pistol used in the attack, and police say he was also found dead at the scene.
Anthony McRae, 43, also wrote "I'm tired of being rejected," in the note, which was dated the day before the Feb. 13 shooting and released Friday by police.
Two more students have been released from the hospital following the shooting at Michigan State University.

Michigan State University is implementing new safety measures on campus following the mass shooting last month that left three students dead. The changes include locks on classroom doors, added security cameras, and mandatory safety training.
