The revolving door continued to swing for the Chicago Sky, who introduced their second head coach in a little over a year. Tyer Marsh takes over for Teresa Weatherspoon, who was ousted after just one season, but now the new coach hopes to return the Sky to higher heights.
Marsh was an assistant and head of player development in Vegas, and now is set to take over a team with young stars Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso.
The groundbreaking for the construction of the new Sky practice facility in Bedford Park was held Wednesday.
To qualify for the playoffs as the eighth seed, the Sky needed to beat the Sun and also needed the Atlanta Dream and Washington Mystics to lose.
