Volunteers called the Tinley Park Fire Department who came and quickly put out the fire.
A fire forced the closure of an animal shelter in southwest suburban Tinley Park, and left more than 100 animals hospitalized. The fire broke out around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday inside the laundry room at P.A.W.S. Tinley Park.
