Police said, around 10:40 a.m., a 16-year-old boy and a 40-year-old man were in the 2500 block of West 46th Street, when an SUV pulled up, and someone got out and started shooting.
The shooting happened just before 9:30 p.m. in the 7100 block of South State Street in the Park Manor neighborhood.
A driver in a white car drove the victim to Jackson Park Hospital, where they dropped him off and left him.
The victim lost control of his car and hit the 19-year-old pedestrian.
