The victim was taken to the University of Chicago Hospital by the Chicago Fire Department with a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead.
Pullman has played a major role in the labor movement. It was the site of the first industry-wide railroad strike, and the first Black labor union, and a strike there led to the creation of Labor Day.
Police said one of the victims was listed in critical condition.
