Prosecutors alleged the suspect, Steven Montano, tried to hide his firearm before encountering and shooting Officer Andres Mauricio Vasquez Lasso.
Charges were filed against the suspect, 18-year-old Steven Montano, on Thursday evening in the death of Officer Andres Vasquez-Lasso.
