Car Ends Up On Top Of Vehicle After Lawrence Crash
LAWRENCE (CBS) – A car landed on top of another vehicle following a crash in Lawrence early Monday morning.
It happened on Essex Street around 3 a.m.
The car snapped a utility pole before coming to a stop on top of the second vehicle.
Essex Street was closed from Ames Street to Nesmith Street following the crash so National Grid can replace the pole.
The male driver and female passenger were both taken to Lawrence General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
It does not appear that alcohol was a factor in the crash.
