The Pride of Baltimore II will be setting sail on a five-month voyage to ports along the East Coast, Great Lakes and in Canada.
Marty and Don talked to entertainer Barry Manilow about his new CD, "15 Minutes." In People Are Talking, Ron Matz was at the Inner Harbor talking about the Pride of Baltimore II heading to the Great Lakes.
A low pressure system, now located in eastern Canada, has been dragging a cool front across interior parts of the Northeast and mid-Atlantic states during the night. That front will be pulling away from the coast early today.
Much of the viewing area is dry as the system from yesterday exits to the northeast. Skies should be mixed with some clouds and sunshine today on the northern edge of a high over the Southeast.
Yes, we actually saw sunshine today! It hung on for most of the day before clouds thickened through the afternoon. With the sun out, we warmed up considerably from where we've been lately.
The storm that brought all the flooding rain earlier this week is finally gone. Yes, the main low that was driving the whole thing hung back over the Great Lakes this weekend.
After a very wet few days, we are drying out this weekend. However, the same storm that produced all that rain is still spinning around just off to our north over the Great Lakes.
There'll be some more springlike weather occurring this week, with Friday being the warmest out of the next three. It was in the upper 60s on Monday before that much talked about cool-down, which occurred yesterday.
One round of snow is gone, but another could be on the way. One thing's for certain...the cold air is locked in for a while.
