1 Dead After Crash, Tanker Truck Fire On I-820 In North Richland Hills

One person was killed in a crash involving a Corvette and a box truck in the 3200 block of I-820 shortly before 2:00 p.m. Wednesday.
I-820 at Team Ranch Road in Fort Worth is where police say a woman was pulled over by a man who was pretending to be a police officer and he sexually assaulted her.
On Tuesday, April 11 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, there will be several closures along the I-35W corridor between I-30 and I-820.
On Friday, March 10 and Saturday, March 11 from 9 p.m. until 10 a.m. there will be several closures along the I-35W corridor between I-30 and I-820.
Some key Fort Worth interchanges will be closed during overnight hours this weekend, as the Texas Department of Transportation moves forward on the $1.4 billion North Tarrant Express 35W project.
Drivers will now exit to the right to get on northbound I-35W from eastbound I-820..
Construction workers will shut down the left hand exit from I-820 west bound to I-35W south heading to downtown. The new exit will be on the right side.
Instead of exiting to the left, drivers will now exit to the right to continue onto I-35W south starting January 23.
Various sections of I-35W will be closed overnight this weekend.
The 13.3 mile project will open by October, eight months ahead of schedule.
