North Texas gets a quiet weather pattern this week

It is finally feeling like fall and temperatures are expected to dip into the low 60s by Tuesday morning, and some cities further away from the metroplex may dip into the low 50s. Light fog may form in low-lying areas in the morning, but should lift by the afternoon.

Grab a lite jacket when heading out the door, but you won't need one in the afternoon. Highs Tuesday will reach into the middle 80s in the afternoon. Expect plenty of sunshine and northeast winds at 5 mph.

The rest of the week, mornings will stay cool and crisp, while the afternoons will stay warm and sunny.

As of now, no significant rain chances are in the forecast. The next higher chance of rain will return next week.
