Fort Worth Man Rescues Dogs & Takes Them For A Ride On His 'Dog Train'

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW) - Eugene Bostick is just a normal, retired, 80-year old man. What isn't normal is his invention.

Bostick lives on a farm in Fort Worth on a dead end street. That is where he says people tend to drop off their unwanted dogs.

Rather than let them starve and have an unhappy life, Bostick began feeding and taking care of the dogs.

One day, Bostick saw something that caught his eye. "I was out and I seen this guy with a tractor who attached these carts to pull rocks. I thought, 'Dang, that would do for a dog train,'" said Bostick according to the dodo.com. "I'm a pretty good welder, so I took these plastic barrels with holes cut in them, and put wheels under them and tied them together."

That's right, Bostick built a dog train for his abandoned furry friends. And it seems that people in the area are starting to take notice of the man's kindness.

This is the coolest guy he rescues stray dogs and every morning he takes them for a train ride by our building, i finally got the courage up to ask if I could take his pic! Love this and had to share!

"I'm getting up in age. I'm 80 now, so I suppose it can't last too much longer, but I'll keep it going as long as I can," said Bostick. "The dogs have a great time. They just really enjoy it."
