2 Injured After Car Collides With Rock Hauler In Denton County

PROVIDENCE VILLAGE, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) - Two people in a car were injured after a crash with a commercial rock hauler on FM 2931 near Fishtrap in Providence Village.

The crash happened around 4:45 p.m. Friday.

Chopper 11 showed the car's front end crashed into the side of the big rig.

Three fire engines, an ambulance and air ambulance were on the scene.

Rescuers pulled a passenger from the car and that victim was rushed to a hospital in the air ambulance.

Aubrey Police said the driver was taken to the hospital by ground ambulance.

The commercial vehicle driver was uninjured.

The roadway was closed for several hours while police investigated.
