Beagle, Boxer, Basset Mix Crowned Ugliest Dog
CALIFORNIA (CBSDFW.COM) - A duck-footed mix of beagle, boxer and basset hound with a big head has won the 25th Annual World's Ugliest Dog Contest.
The four-year-old mutt named Walle from Chico, California, was a last minute entry in the contest. He wasn't expected to win given the dominance of hairless chihuahuas in recent years.
Judges said they were especially impressed by his bizarre waddle of a walk.
Walle's owner won $1500 in prize money.
