The controversial sheriff was a vocal supporter of Mr. Trump throughout the 2016 campaign, and at a rally in Arizona on Monday, Mr. Trump all but said he would pardon the sheriff. Transgender military ban
President Trump laid out formal guidelines Friday for the transgender military ban he announced over Twitter last month. Effective immediately, the rule against recruiting transgender individuals will be renewed, the military will no longer pay for sex reassignment surgery and the status of current transgender members will be reviewed over the next six months.
