Sexual assault victim Chanel Miller speaks

The woman who delivered a powerful statement about her sexual assault by a Stanford student and gave voice to survivors nationwide is now coming forward. Previously known as "Emily Doe," Chanel Miller is sharing her story with 60 Minutes' Bill Whitaker, and she’s written a memoir set to be published later this month. Lyft faces new sexual assault accusation

Alison Turkos says her driver kidnapped her at gunpoint in New York City in 2017, drove her across state lines and then raped her with two other men. Turkos is among a reported five women who filed lawsuits against Lyft on Tuesday, alleging they were sexually assaulted or raped by its drivers. The plaintiffs accuse Lyft of refusing to cooperate with law enforcement in rape cases, failing to adequately screen potential drivers and failing to address what they call the "sexual predator crisis" on the platform. Last week, Lyft issued updates concerning its safety features, and said it will make drivers undergo a mandatory safety exercise.

Ronan Farrow on "Catch & Kill," NBC response

In his explosive new book, "Catch and Kill," Ronan Farrow details allegations of sexual assault in the media industry, and his former bosses’ alleged attempts to stifle his reporting. The book describes sexual assault allegations against disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein and former NBC News anchor Matt Lauer. Farrow joins “CBS This Morning” to discuss the allegations and his new book. In a letter to colleagues, NBC News president Noah Oppenheim said: "We have no secrets and nothing to hide," adding, "Farrow's effort to defame NBC News is clearly motivated not by a pursuit of truth, but an axe to grind."
