Iran resumes 20% uranium enrichment

Iran has informed the International Atomic Energy Agency that it is resuming 20% uranium enrichment in violation of the Iran nuclear deal. President Trump took the U.S. out of the Obama-era agreement in 2018, and tensions with the Islamic Republic have been high ever since. Twitter permanently suspends Trump's account

Twitter has permanently suspended President Trump's personal account. The social media giant cited the risk of further incitement of violence as the reason behind its decision. The move follows Wednesday's deadly assault on the U.S. Capitol. The president has been accused of setting the violence in motion with tweets and his speech encouraging his supporters to march to the Capitol. Biden says "domestic terrorists" should be prosecuted

President-elect Joe Biden is pushing forward in an effort to fill his Cabinet ahead of Inauguration Day.
