Trump to create economic recovery task force

President Trump plans to announce a new task force on Tuesday, whose mission will be to examine when and how to reopen the country as the coronavirus pandemic continues to have a hold on American life. While the Surgeon General has warned that the upcoming week could be the nation’s equivalent of Pearl Harbor or 9/11, Mr. Trump said the U.S. death toll could be “substantially” lower than original estimates of 100,000 or more. What America needs from its leaders during a crisis

The professional backgrounds and training of retired four-star Gen. Stanley McChrystal, Dr. Penny Wheeler, the president and CEO of Allina Health, and Father Joseph McShane, the president of Fordham University have little or nothing in common, yet they share some common traits as accomplished leaders.
