The match up to watch on Sunday will be Carlos Rogers vs. Victor Cruz. As with San Francisco and New York both are very talented and have developed a bit of a rivalry since Rogers mocked Cruz's touchdown celebration. This will mark the 3rd time the two have faced each other with both winning a previous meeting. Whichever player gets the better of their opponent Sunday will give their team a great chance at winning the game.
Alex Smith is on the verge of becoming an elite quarterback. The San Francisco signal caller was nominated this week for the FedEx Air Player of the Week award, which is the 3rd time in the past year that he has been up for the award.

Alex Smith finished with over 300 yards passing while the defense played another impressive game. With momentum on their side, the 49ers will take on the New York Giants next week in the biggest game of the year for San Francisco.
