Steelers finalize 53-man roster for 2025 season
The Pittsburgh Steelers have finalized their 53-man roster for the start of the 2025 season ahead of the team's first game against the New York Jets on Sept. 7.
The updated 53-man roster can be found below.
Offense
- Quarterbacks: Will Howard, Aaron Rodgers, Mason Rudolph, Skylar Thompson
- Running backs: Kenneth Gainwell, Kaleb Johnson, Jaylen Warren
- Offensive linemen: Calvin Anderson, Spencer Anderson, Troy Fautanu, Zach Frazier, Broderick Jones, Ryan McCollum, Mason McCormick, Andrus Peat, Isaac Seumalo
- Tight ends: Pat Freiermuth, Jonnu Smith, Darnell Washington
- Tight end/fullback: Connor Heyward

NFL teams were required to trim roster sizes down to the 53-man maximum by 4 p.m. Tuesday.

The Steelers kick off the 2025 season against quarterback Aaron Rodgers' former team, the New York Jets, on Sunday, Sept. 7. Kick-off is set for 1 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on KDKA-TV.
