SAXONBURG, Pa. (KDKA) — A Butler County business owner and his family were on an episode of "Family Feud" on Wednesday.

A watch party was held for Doug Sprankle, the owner of Sprankle's Neighborhood Market in Saxonburg, and his family at the Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company's carnival grounds on Wednesday. Everyone in attendance watched as the family came together to win big.

"Just being here now with all these people watching this is surreal," said Ryan Sprankle, who represented the family on the show.

The event doubled as the kickoff for the Sprankle's annual charity event called Campout for Community. They try to raise $20,000 each year for the Salvation Army's food pantries. You can donate at the Sprankle's grocery stores starting on Thursday.

"This family has brought more to this community than there has ever been before," Noreen Kutsch said. "They brought excitement to the family, to the kids, for everybody."

Wednesday was just another example of that.

"To be able to have a moment like this with everyone who works with us, everyone who lives with us, who grew up with us, coming together, being here, it's truly unbelievable," Ryan Sprankle said.

Since the family won, they will play again on Thursday on KDKA+. They'll have another watch party for the episode, which will be part of the Campout for Community event.

The family said its winnings will go to the Salvation Army.
