Person rescued from Allegheny River in Strip District
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — One person was rescued from the Allegheny River on Tuesday.
Allegheny County 911 said a river rescue was staged in the area of the 16th Street Bridge and Heinz Street in the Strip District. The call came in around 8:30 p.m.
The person was taken to a local hospital. Their condition is not known at this time.
