Man Wearing Wig, Fake Breasts, Strange Pants Robs Bank
A bank robbery in Swissvale over the weekend had an unusual twist.
Dennis Hawkins of North Braddock was better suited for a job in a circus as he was dressed in clown pants, a blonde wig and fake breasts. First he stole a BB gun from a Kmart store, then went to a bank nearby and got away with an unspecified amount of cash.
Outside, he went behind a tree opened a money pack and the red dye exploded all over him.
He tried to hitch a ride with several cars when police found him sitting in a car at a nearby gas station.
Swissvale Police Chief Greg Geppert said this was one for the books.
