Donation Jar Stolen From Bethel Park Restaurant
BETHEL PARK (KDKA) -- Police are looking for a masked man who stole a donation jar from a Bethel Park business.
Luciano's Pizza & Pasta on Clifton Road was collecting the money for Feed The Sheep, a non-profit organization that helps hungry children.
The owner believes there was anywhere between $500 and $700 inside the jar when it was stolen just before 4 p.m. Tuesday.
The thief was caught on tape stealing the jar. He was wearing a ski mask and goggles.
Bethel Park police are investigating.
Timothy Cross, the owner of Luciano's, is taking some action on his own.
"Hopefully he'll brag to somebody or somebody will recognize the clothes that he's wearing," he said. "He's also driving a four-door dark sedan with a spoiler and ground effects on it. We're hoping maybe someone will turn him in and there would be a monetary reward for that."
