Basement Fire Breaks Out Overnight At Crescent Twp. Home
CRESCENT TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- Firefighters were called overnight to a vacant house in Crescent Township for the second time in less than six months.
The fire broke out around 2 a.m. along Purdy Road, near Laurelridge Drive.
Officials say the fire started in the basement and spread up to the first floor.
Five months ago, crews extinguished a fire just inside the front door.
