Upper Darby director of parking enforcement Sekela Coles resigned Wednesday night ahead of a council vote to terminate her, Mayor Barbarann Keffer told CBS News Philadelphia.
The director of parking enforcement in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, has been charged with allegedly using money to buy gifts and lunches for office workers.
Sekela Coles is facing felony theft charges after allegedly diverting funds collected from parking meters, Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer said Monday.
The charges were filed after CBS Philadelphia's first report aired in January.
