School closings, delayed openings in Philadelphia area: February 12, 2025
Snowflakes have stopped falling for now, but the Philadelphia region is preparing for more rounds of winter storms this week.
The heaviest totals were reported in south and east over the Jersey Shore, far South Jersey, and the southern half of Delaware. Either side of the I-95 corridor, including Philadelphia, received accumulating snow. As of 3:30 a.m., Philadelphia International Airport is reporting 2.6 inches of snow, according to the National Weather Service.
For the Lehigh Valley and Poconos, there is very little snow, and possibly none at all in some areas.
Several schools are closing their doors or have delayed openings on Wednesday as the winter storm moves into our region.
The School District of Philadelphia will be on a two-hour delay Tuesday.
